You will need to be fully qualified in Beauty Therapy Level 3 NVQ, ITEC or equivalent. We will ask you to provide a copy of your diploma.
Other Therapists: For any other non-beauty therapies such as reflexology, massage etc. you will need to have a qualification recognised by one of the Professional UK bodies.

All therapy club personal trainers must have a current professional recognised UK personal training qualification and have at least 6 months practical experience. They must also hold current Civil Liability & Professional Indemnity insurance and a current first aid / CPR certificate.

You need to own any equipment needed to carry out the treatments we have agreed that you can offer to our customers. Our beauty therapists for example would need a massage couch and all relevant beauty products.

Therapy club has chosen to use high quality beauty products from the following leading brands: Creative, Dermalogica, Fake Bake. Therapists can purchase products at trade cost for use in treatments. Discounted 'staff' rates are also available for products bought for personal use.

All team members must wear the official therapy club uniform. This consists of two designs of high quality beauty wear for female team members and a quality T-shirt for male team members. The uniform is black with the therapy club logo embroidered on the front and the logo printed on the back.
You can use or choose black trousers/skirts/shorts to match as appropriate.

Ladies tops are available in the following sizes: 10-12, 12-14, 14-16

You must have valid insurance to carry out all the treatments that we provide to our customers. Upon applying to therapy club we will ask you to provide a copy of your insurance certificate. From time to time you may also need to provide proof by producing a valid insurance certificate upon request.

You will be working with therapyclub as a freelance therapist. This means that you are self employed and you are responsible for keeping all Tax and National Insurance matters in order. therapy club will accept no responsibility in the event of such payments not being made correctly.

We pay our team members on a weekly basis for any treatments or services that they have provided in the previous 7 days. We use an industry leading system to monitor and record exactly who has done what. Payment for each treatment will be based on the rates we have agreed with you. Payment can either be made by cheque or online banking direct to your account. Typically you will be paid within 7 days of every treatment or service you provide.

With therapy club everything is simple. You tell us which hours you are available to work and what treatments or services you are qualified and willing to provide. You also confirm what areas you are able or willing to cover. Then each time we receive a booking the treatments will be evenly spread between any therapists able to provide that service in that area.
Naturally the more treatments and services you can provide, the more treatments we will be able to give to you. However you should note that the volume of work that you receive also depends on the time of year and the overall demand in your area. As a freelance therapist we cannot guarantee a regular working pattern, however we aim to have a small team of therapists in each area ensuring consistency of service to our members and a regular stream of work to our team. Also unlike any other company, therapy club is designed for members who choose to subscribe to regular treatments and therapies every month which means you are more likely to receive regular work than with any other mobile business!

As part of the terms and conditions you agree to before starting to work for therapy club, you are not permitted to promote any competing products or services. Therapy club members enjoy a wide range of treatments and therapies all through one simple monthly payment. If you offer a service that we do NOT provide at present and think it would be of interest to our members then please contact us to discuss it further.
However under no circumstances are you allowed to solicit business from our clients for any health or beauty services that are relevant to, or in conflict with the therapy club offering.
We seek regular feedback from our members to ensure we maintain the highest of standards. If any team members are found to have broken this rule they will no longer be able to work for therapy club and will need to return any uniform and other company information and materials that have been provided to them.
On a more positive note we do encourage cross-selling of additional treatments and services from within the therapy club offering. All of our therapists are incentivised to promote other service, even if they do not personally provide them. For example many people enjoy a massage after a personal training session. Our personal trainers do NOT provide a massage service but will recommend it to their clients, improving the service to our members and also generating addition appointment for other team members. All team members are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the full range of products and service and to promote the benefits to our members when appropriate.
Travel and Parking Expenses: [more...]
Travel costs are not covered, (unless you are asked to travel a significant distance from your base in which case any travelling expenses will have been confirmed in advance). Parking expenses are charged to the client, you will be reimbursed for any expenses when you receive your payment for your services.
